Trying again after an early miscarrige.....?

Question

I miscarried June 7th =( I was about 4-4 1/2 weeks. I bleed up untill the 19th. My doctor did an ultrasound & I did pass everything. She told me that since I was so young & healthy it prob. was just a fluke. And that sometimes these things happen. And also I do have a 2 year old.

My doctor also told me that it was completey up to me when I wanted to try again. But she did say that it would be easier to know how far along I was & stuff if I waited to have one normal cycle.

I am having EWCM (egg white cervical mucus) & so I

know I should be ovulating in the next few days. When I told DH he was all up for trying again. But I'm kinda scared. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant right after an early miscarrige & had a successful pregnancy....or if they have not.....

i had a miscarriage at 11 weeks last year and got pregnant again 3 months later and now have a beautiful,healthy baby girl. i had to have a d&c and my doctor just put me on the pill until i had one period then gave me the ok to try again. good luck and dont give up (my grandma lost 5 then had a healthy baby boy)!!!!

i'm sorry for your loss. i've heard that trying right after your miscarriage is the best time for you physically. meaning that you will get pregnant easiest and fastest. most doctors suggest waiting 4-6 months, but i think this may be for emotional healing. good luck!

first of all im sooo sorry about what happened and i know exactly how you are feeling right now. I know its tempting to want to try right off the bat but at least wait one cycle before trying again. Just so you can give your uterus time to get back to normal. Just think if you were to get pregnant again and your uterus wasnt ready and you miscarried the heartache will come back again. I got pregnant 4 months after my second miscarriage and it was the best decision i made. I gave myself time to mourn and also time for my body to get back to normal. Im now 17 weeks and doing well. Just wait one cycle is all, lol and soon enough youll have your bundle of joy!

my sisters sister inlaw miscarried the day before her wedding, she found out a month later she was pg again she had a baby boy healthy..... but i had a miscarriage in dec of 07 and my doc said to wait 3 months

I was told after my miscarriage to wait a month or so (or after one regular period). I was also told that every egg or sperm is not always good so it's natures way of getting rid of it. I was very upset but now have a healthy baby girl who is 3 months old and I got pregnant 2 months after my miscarriage. Good luck! It will happen for you!
