Trying to get F1 visas ?

hello . i have a question about american visas . i have B/2 tourist visas which ends on 2013 . i have been to usa before . this year i want to get a F1 visas because i decided to attemp an language course in new york city . so my question is , when i get F1 visas , do they going to put a label called " cancelled without prejudice " on my B2 visas ? but it end on 2013 i have 5 more years ? can thay cancel it ? thanks

No, your tourist visa will not be cancelled if you receive a student visa.  You can't have two visas of the same type, but you can have several different types of visas for different purposes.
