Trying to unlock an orange phone?

My old phone was on orange, but I transferred my old number to my new phone. Anyway, I have a friend who's on t-mobile and gets free calls/texts to other t-mobile phones so I got a sim card and put it in my old phone. But when I switched it on it says that it's locked and asks for like a PIN number. (not like the security pin thingy you can put on). How do you find out the code for this?

  1. go to the store and ask them  or switch ur plan/ company of ur new phone

  2. You can search for it online with the model number of the phone.

  3. if they're asking for a code, then it's usually 1234...but if they're asking for a pin, it's usuallly 00000    five zeros

Hi there the problem your having is that your putting a t-mobile sim into an orange phone when your old phone is only for use on the orange network the best thing to do is go to your local market stall or phone shope & get your old phone unlocked should cost between £5 & £10.00 & your old phone will accept your new sim ... hope this helps
