Turkey wheather?

I might go to Turkey for a holiday, but i am going in september or december. is it still hot around them times or does it get cold...?

  1. In December it's cold everywhere.

    In September the south and west parts of Turkey are still hot but chilly in the evening. And it might rain occasionally.


  2. I advice you strongly not to go in December. It's cold and in many cities they burn coal or wood to heat their homes which makes breathing hard and in general it is not an enjoyable time to spend in Turkey. September is much better.

    But, it all depends where exactly you go and what your intentions are for going there. If you go for example to southern Turkey in December, it's rather mild. If you go to North Eastern Turkey, you may want to pack your Eskimo gear because it is extremely cold.
