Turnabout in driving test?

Is it ok to cross your hands when steering when doing the turnabout in your driving test? I have my test in the morning (friday) and I'm getting mixed answers from people I have asked.

The simple answer to this is easy.  What have you been taught by your instructor.  He or she is ultimately responsible for getting you through your test.  Ask in the morning before the test as presumably you will be having you pre test lesson

Generally speaking if you do EXACTLY as you have been taught you will pass if you do not then you are likely to fail.  Don't try to do anything flash or fancy as they have seen it all before and are not impressed by it in fact the will be most unimpressed.  These action will more than likely get you a mark down. Too many minor points as a fail one major fault is a fail.  So once again do what you have been taught and no more and no less

If you do pass then keep VERY safe over the christmas and new year period and then develope good driving practice in the future.  You have probably spent a reasonable amount so far and want to keep that licence and keep safe and alive as well

it was a very long time ago since i passed my test but you were not allowed to then you had to feed the between your hands

Sorry Michele crossing hands would not be an acceptable movement during a driving test.           For a breif moment you would not be in control..        Good luck  take care.

when i took my test  many years ago it was a definate NO but not sure now but it is good practice to not do it

i would think its fine.  i got my license that way

I was told that you are to never cross your hands or arms doing any of these test.

NOPE you should slide the wheel between your hands its a big no no to cross your hands. Whoever said that must want you to fail dont listen its not nice to fail.

Plus you will be so mad at yourself if you do fail for that.
