hi i have a question wanted to know how much can a ups charge for a plasma 42

  1. About  $100....but you most likely can't ship it UPS, it will have to go via Carrier Trucking

If you are shipping the TV definately get the actual box from the manufacturer for your TV.  It will allow you to insure the TV and will protect it properly during shipping.  If you use any other type of box and the TV gets damaged UPS or any carrier will not cover it due to mis-packing.  I know this because I have a friend who this happened to.  He DID have the box and shipped it and the shipping company paid him $2500 when the TV was damaged during shipping.
