    no

    not sure

and you need to be asking math questions..... that was 3 questions, not 2 .    haaaaaaa

  3. 1) Is it true that spring sees more run-off water on average than any other season?

In North America, this is true, due to the accumulation of 2-3 months of precipitation of snow melting.

    2) Is dried sand a type of soil?

Technically if its just silica sand, then it is NOT a soil.  It has the potential to become soil, which would be the addition of organic material.  Technically to be considered a soil, it needs a mixture of organic material and minerals.  Sand is a component of soil.

    3) Is it true that British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec have the greatest number of people employed in the forest industry?

That is true.  Those are also the 3 most populated provinces.

  4. Spring definitely has more runoff because the winter snows are melting.

Sand is a type of soil.

The provinces that you mentioned each have many employed in the forest industry.
