UCSanta Barbara dorms?

Question

Im going to be a future gacho next fall and i want to know all about the UCSB dorms(anacapa, san nicolas, san miguel, santa cruz, santa rosa, francisco torres) i want a dorm were i can part and not be far off campus i know the laguna 5 are great but which one to choose? what are some things about each one?

Back in the day, I lived in San Mig.  Francisco Torres was the party dorm but is a long way from campus and the main parts of Isla Vista.  San Mig was centrally located, but because it was a high rise you didn't get as close with others in the building, just your floor.  Anacapa and Santa Cruz were smaller and the people who lived there seemed to know one another better.  I remember that they had a good ocean view and were closer to the beach.  They are close to campus but pretty far from Isla Vista.  I can't remember anything about the others...
