UFC Vs. EliteXC?

Question

I saw the EliteXC fight last night and i thought it was horrible compared to UFC. The TKO's in EliteXC are nothing compared to the TKO's in UFC. Most of the fighters in the card last night were former UFC fighters who werent any good. The show ran over the time by 45 minutes. At least in the UFC they use the main card that for sure will be on tv and use the prelims just in case they have extra time.

gina carano baby. if the ufc brings in some females it's over. get carano and some chicks she can beat up and then it will be over for everyone else.

The EXC is gearded toward kids were UFC is geared toward real MMA fans EXC is the WWE of MMA

Elite has 2 good fighters. Gina Cerano and Cung Le. UFC has all the rest.

UFC doesn't invest in gang bangin street thugs.

The UFC also has the best commentator ever, Joe Rogan. : )

Elite only has fighters that the UFC doesn't want. How often do you watch AAA baseball????

I think last night's broadcast showed how far above the UFC is than any of it's competitors.  There should be no more complaining about the UFC now after watching this Elite XC garbage.  Guaranteed the WEC fights tonight will be much better.

the ufc is the nfl of mixed martial arts, its got all the top fighters in the world with an exception of like 5 or 6 guys...no other league really can come close to it.....

elite XC is a minor league with money backing it king of the cage is better just smaller production value UFC is head and shoulders above elite XC

EliteXC= Network TV

UFC= PPV and Cable.

Because Network TV is free and has the largest audience available, most people who don't know the UFC or even MMA will likely become fans of the sport.

Unfortunately for UFC fanboys, the Network audiences will associate MMA with EliteXC.

UFC screwed themselves when they wouldn't sign a deal with any of the networks.  

Blame it on Dana White for his inability to negotiate and market.

Heck Dana also snubbed his nose at his fighters challenging professional boxers (eg Roy Jones) to prove MMA fighters are better at boxing than pure boxers.

In Strikeforce, Frank Shamrock challenged Cung Le to a pure Thai Box match.  Cung won the match and broke Frank's arm in the process.

UFC will be left behind if they don't start thinking outside the box and maybe present some exhibition matches.
