UNICEF donations?

I am planning a Student Council Hallowe'en ball this year schoolwide with my Student Council and have taken it upon myself to find a reason to do so. I decided that we should raise money for UNICEF, which is often associated with this time of year. Does anyone know how I could become involved with such a fundraising/donation process?

ya - your $$ will not reach the kids!  is there a nearby childrens charity and in recognition of unicef day - we therefore donate it to children in our community.

Go with a different charity.  UNICEF is fraught with mismanagement.

Find a local group instead of UNICEF. They are more in need of funds, and your money will be used better by a local group.
