  1. Erosion is secondary.

Different coastal areas have different shelves and underlying substrates. There are beaches that are long and shallow with erosion issues. River beaches tend to be steep because of the current. Also beaches are constantly changing with wind and current changes.

Manmade structures also influence beaches by interrupting normal tides and currents. Every breakwater that helps one area is usually harming another.

  2. Erosion.  From both wind and water.

  3. it is caused by erosion of the beach surface by destructive waves and it all depends on the force that the wave it the beach and the angle of which they hit it.

  4. Most beaches have a gradual slope which is the opposite of steep.

  5. It could be caused by man or it could be natural, depending on the beach.

    Your question is vague.

It could depend on how the beach erodes due to the type of material that the beach is made up of.  It could have to do with how strong the current is.  All kinds of things.

  6. It's from erosion.  The constant pounding the waves give the surrounding land.
