URINE TEST FOR MY JOB?

THE JOB............. F-IN URINE TEST

I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job.

I work, they pay me.

I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test

with which I have no problem.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people

who don't have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, F-in food stamps,,,,,because I

have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet.

I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their

***, doing drugs, while I work and truck all over the F-in US. . ...

Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had

to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Don't get me started on child support. But something has to change in this country -- and soon!

I think it is a great idea and to the person who said the cost would be too much, that's BS, every company that has to administer it has to pay for it! If private companies can pay for it then so can our government.....no one cares about the cost when the private companies have to pay for it.

Actually it costs lots of money to administer those urine tests; at least with welfare it is going to a good cause.  If they gov't was just shelling out all that extra money for drug tests that by the way, most people on welfare would pass; that would be a larger waste of funds.

An interesting point. If they failed the urine test and welfare was withheld, they might actually have to get a job. God forbid.

I'm with you.  Drug testing should be mandatory for welfare recipients.  If they don't like it, they don't have to collect their welfare.  If they can't stay off drugs, they can do what the rest of us do -- work, or starve.  If children are in the picture, they need to be taken away.  No drug user is a responsible parent.

I am with you on most of it. Those people are not try to get back up on their feet. They are fleecing us. I hope they die.

Welfare is a wonderful thing because it helps people who are truly in need for legitimate reasons.

But they should defiantely require drug tests because so much of it goes to drug abusers.  We shouldn't give money to people who spend it on illegal drugs.

In some cities this is the case. It is not very effective because the Feds squeal. There is no provision in the Federal statue so, you cannot withhold welfare funds from drug addicts.  We need to change the law. However, when and if we do, crime will go up. They are not about to go to work.

In California they make it a priority to get drug addicts on welfare. They don't steal as often and the authorities can always find them because they want their check.

I had to pass this test for 25 years. It was never a problem of course to do or pass.

I have been asking myself the same thing..

it's crazy!

And also for those single moms that work, do the right stuff and cause she makes $83 more then their limit to qualify for food stamps theydeny her some help for food.. isn't that crazy.

While some just sit there @$$ capable of working and isn't!
