US Coast Guard Law Enforcement?

I want to start a career in the coast guard but am not sure what job class I should apply for before I leave boot camp. Can anyone help out? Thanks

Do something you would want to and have fun at so if you want to be like a cop, law enforcement would be the best

You don't have to apply for a job before you leave boot camp, unless you set up a guaranteed a school with your recruiter .. you'll get stationed somewhere and have to be there for 6 months before you can put your name on any a school, or job/rate school, or you can decide to strike a rating, and they will teach you all about the ratings in boot camp. in my opinion, just went through boot with guranteed a school (you can turn it down before you leave if you want to do somethign else), if LE is really what you want to do then try to get guaranteed a school, but if your not sure, then go and learn and you will find out what you want to do. theres lots of flexibility in the coast guard.
