  1. 10 weeks is a bit long ? but hopefully it will get there within a week or so ?

    unfortunally :

    Updated Processing Times

    # February-April # is the busiest time of year for Passport Services, with Americans planning spring break and summer trips.  The best advice is, “Apply Early!”   Or even “now’” if you might be checking out deals on airfare or hotels outside the U.S.

are you sure they even got it ?

please go to this link and fill out this application :

    https://passportstatus.state.gov/opss/OP...

have you called them to check ?

    here is the http://travel.state.gov/passport/about/n... :

  2. contact the phone number and e-mail listed below to arrange expediting. if it gets too close for comfort, contact the passport agent where you applied - they might be able to e-mail the passport center through their own channels. it will take a lot of patience and persistance to get through to them.

  3. give it one more week, if it doesn't come look on that orange application and there should be a number you can call and have someone help you. hope this helps. have fun on your vacation : )

  4. there is a number you can call to ck on the status.  Call your local postoffice or where you applied for it and they will have that and they should have given you a tracking number if I remember correctly.

  5. Go on a search for the right Palm to Grease! Find the right person to bribe. That seems the way to get things done these days.  Kinda reminds you of some 3rd World Country doesn't it?

  6. Paying x-tra for the rush service, and also paying for the postage for  that rush service which is kind of expensive, but in the end worth it.

You end up having the passport in a few days rather than in many weeks.
