USA olympic team?

Why didn't they even ask Brandon roy to participate. He is just as good as deron Williiams, maybe even better. They asked JJ Reddick to try out and not Roy? what is that?

They didnt have him try out because in his position are some of the greatest players in the world, such as Kobe. The only reason that Reddick tried out was because Coach K coached him at Duke he had no shot of making it. Roy is obviously a better player, just look at his NBA stats.

TEAM USA is already loaded at the SG position. They have Kobe, Wade, and Redd.

i dont know why i dont think he would have made the team since they wnated 3 point gaurds but he would have definitly been considered

they need a long range shooter so JJ Reddick was asked for try out not Brandon Roy

Roy is a SG, and at the SG position you have the likes of Kobe Bryant, D-Wade, and Redd.

Roy is a good player, but USA are really looking for range, shooters and slasher, but don't worry, Roy will win a Gold medal in his career sooner or later.

OK, first Roy is not as good as Williams, second, Williams is a PG Roy is a SG. Loaded with SG already.

I do however agree on the JJ comment. He's horrible. You and I should have been invited before JJ.

Good Question. Portland Oregon is a crappy town that does not deserve representation. If he was playing in chicago or La, he would have been invited.
