USA to UK adoption?

Hi,

I am currently pregnant. I have a very dear friend in the UK who I would like for my child to go home with once it is born. I am in the US and she is in the UK. How would that work for her to get a passport, birthcertificate? How would she get citizenship for the baby in the UK? Thank you for your much appreciated info.

I don't have a clue, but I'm sure an attorney in the US and an attorney in the UK will work this out for you.

It's great that this child will be assured universal health coverage. In the US, insurance companies are finding new/creative ways to avoid paying for the health coverage they allegedly provide.
