USB trouble? Memory is confused?

Question

On my USB it says that there is only 1MB left of room, but it shows that it is empty.

I think that it is recognising old stuff that was on there that I deleted, but for some reason it still believes its there (if that makes sense)

Any idea on how to wipe the memory off the USB?

copy the memory stick files to your C drive before reformatting the stick - use a FAT32 format.  Then move the saved files back.
