Whats going to happen with USC football's second game of the 2008 season, when they play Ohio State? I know everyone thinks Ohio St is super good but i think their a decent team with annual easy schedules.

  1. -Beanie Wells will be shut down because of the focus on him

-Boeckman will have a surprisingly good game because of USC's Suspect corners

-But whoever is under center for USC will have a better game because he plays for a better team

    -USC 35 OSU 21

Neither team plays in miami though, because both will lose games they don't caused by injuries

  2. Finally Ohio State has the guts to play someone that's not Kent State. Unfortunately that team is USC. If Mark Sanchez is ready to go this should be a 30 pt blowout. Even if Sanchez isn't ready Mitch can handle the job and deal the Buckeyes a blowout. Beanie Wells is good but I would like to see him power past Ray Maulaluga. USC will run run run with Stafon Johnson and Joe McKnight. Anyways 45-17 USC.

  3. Ohio State always look good on paper but look at what happened the last two BCS games. I hope SC wins big.

  4. without sanchez it's really close, OSU could pull the upset.  If he plays, USC 28-20.  But kudos to OSU for finally amping up the non Big 10 schedule, they 'may' be sorry.  Or maybe not...but they need to see teams like this before January.  We've seen what happens when they don't.

  5. In 2006, OSU played the number 2 team in the country 3 times. In 2005, their only losses were to the teams that finished 1 and 3 in the country, and beat quite a few ranked teams. OSU always plays a weak schedule? The big ten was weak last year, and so was the one big team OSU scheduled. Washington won the pac ten the year they agreed to play the bucks. OSU is up there every season for number of NFL players. I think USC and LSU closed the gap this season, only because OSU only lost 3 players.(All of which are on NFL teams). Your showing you age a bit, saying OSU always has an easy schedule. It has happened twice this decade. Usually OSU has one of the tougher schedules, with only ND or USC having a tougher one.

To answer your question, OSU has 4 locks for a first round pick (Alex Boone, the LT, Beanie Wells the RB, Laurenitis the MLB, and Malcome Jenkins the CB) They are deep at every position except maybe corner, but they have 3 good ones. Personally, I think at the begining of the season, OSU is going to have a much more talented team. With their defense, and the fact USC has 4 new starters on the OL and a new QB, whomever it is, OSU should have the edge. It is at USC, and Carroll coaches his best in the big games, so that might close the gap in USC's favor. I see the Bucks winning a semi low scoring game, like 24-14. By the end of the season, USC will be much improved, and the pac ten is waaaay down this season, so I see them crawling back into the national championship picture. I wouldn't be suprised to see OSU beat USC, and then lose to Wisconsin, and USC run the table to make the NC, instead of the bucks.
