  1. don't worry about it, it used to be the nerds had braces, but almost every girl in my grade had them  in either grade 7 or 8, they had a sort of a club me and my best friend got left out of... jk but seriously i think 8 out of 63 girls didn't have them last year so don't worry, no one thinks anything of them

  2. It depends on what your ortho says... I know that my spacers were in the entire time I had my braces on... If they're trying to correct an over bite and you have a narrow jaw (which was my case) they keep the spacers in to make sure that the jaw stays wider and the front teeth come back into the desired position... Braces aren't that bad though... I liked having my bands changed to different colours all the time... Just make sure you brush lots and keep them clean...

  3. add me if you have stardoll

    im nicolasa123

    =]

nd good luck with da braces

  4. I had a top expander on with my braces. I had it for like a year, maybe only 6 months. But I've had braces for a year and only an expander that one time. Its not so bad. I thought I would die with braces too. but everyone (including me) has gotten used to me having them. OH and when you get them on your mouth will be really sore, but it should only last about 5 days. for me the worst day (after tightening and getting them on) the third. Plus really really brush under the braces every day and night, cuz you'll get little yellow spots where the brackets are anyway. good luck. it will be fine, I swear.

  5. you may think you dont need them but it can truly make a difference in your life! they can almost be fun sometimes...other than pain the first 2 days. THATS IT. and sometimes if they get u on rubber bands and chains and springs etc. but time will TOTALY FLY and and they will be coming off as soon as u kno it. im gettin mine off in 2 weeks..wat stinks is...ITS A DAY AFTER PICTURE DAY! ugh lol. so dont worry about it...think of it as grillz :D

  6. Well if you want those perfect straight pearlies, it's just best to keep them on till they align your pearlies in proper order. It'll be a huge change and you'll be thankful that you've put the braces on. :D

  7. yes. it'll be the whole entire time and it will help braces are to straighten your teeth and don't be afraid all your classmates will have braces to they are in style so don't be worried they hurt the first time but for only one day, it's any amazing experience to have braces and when you get them off guess what your teeth are gonna be gorgeousssss. don't be scared there not that bad:]

  8. the expander probably won't be on the entire time, because its just to make your jaw wider so your teeth can move into place. Your lucky that they are putting your braces on soon, so you can start school with them. That way, you won't meet a bunch of people who get used to seeing you without them and then think you look weird when you get them on. Don't worry, most people get braces. If not, their teeth look pretty screwed up.

  9. Woah you have two expanders in your mouth and they're not coming out? I only had one expander in my mouth and when my orthodontist put the braces on he took it out. I guess it most have something to do with what your having your orthodontic work done for.

  10. Braces are horrible at first, and probably later too, but they are definitely a plus for your future.

  11. Umm this is not even in the right category.

Word play about braces would be what are some good nick names for people with braces or something like that.

  12. Don't even care about braces. I had braces until my senior year in high school and no one even cared or noticed. They aren't  a big deal. In fact, since you obviously need them, you should be grateful your parents can afford them for you. You could be walking around with terrible crooked teeth. Be grateful and not a whiny little brat!

  13. they arent so bad i will get them too

  14. yes, they will be on all the time (unless its Invisalign). but dont worry; your ortho will remove them eventually; i had braces too, and my ortho said it takes about two years; im sure your ortho might have also said two years, but that isnt necessarily the expected time frame. i had mine removed in roughly a year and a half later.

again, they will be on all the time. but dont worry, and be patient. and remember: braces now; really pretty and beautiful smile later

if its not too late, ask your ortho if Invisalign is okay instead of actual braces

    hope this helps!

  15. braces are fun! i want bracessss

    dont worry about it,

  16. I don't know about the spacers, but I had braces, you are going to be so happy did it.  It will be over before you know it!

  17. maybe maybe not i had braces with herpst appliance or something like that it was these poles that pushed my jaw forward hopefully you dont have overbite or you might get that you might not have to have expanders the whole time if the braces are attached to the expanders then yes you will obviously but maybe not it all depend on your ortho

if you going to have braces you wont look any worse with an expander at the same time the braces being added on now is better because you still have your expander so your teeth will be straightening with the expand wich is better than having them expand and then having gaps and waiting longer for braces to work

  18. oh i feel bad my braces have only caused me pain once and it was my teeth being pulled over after getting a tooth pulled out. It may just need  time to get used to. I hope it gets better.
