Uk passports?

my boyfriend lost his passport applied for new one, his old one still in date, filled in forms went to local office paid extra money to do so then after not getting it in the week got told it will take 3-8 weeks now he needs this for work, yet there were 2 non speaking english people in front of him at office applying for passports and got told it will be with them with-in 4 days it's harder for a british person to get passport then these non british people any one agree

before you start saying blabla foreigners special treatment, they may of applied for a fast track passport

no, not really. there may be reasons why his will take so long, i was recently in the same situation as your bf, passport came through within 2 weeks. the post office service is simply to check that the forms are correctly filled in, it doesnt guarantee quicker issue of passport.
