Umm, iPod Touch Help!!!?

well, im thinking about getting an iPOd touch

its an 8GB

umm, can you get applications and c**p for free for it?

and can you get them from the apple store?

i know this guy,

and he said that he got his apps free from the apple store.

is that true?

and how do you get them from the apple store, to your iPod touch?

i couldn't figure it out

i can browse a crapload of apps, but when i click on them

all i get is the information about it

i just got an ipod touch yesterday and when i first tried adding the free apps i had no idea how to put them on the actual ipod because it turns out you actually have to buy an upgrade for 9.99$ to have the ability to add apps

to add the app you have to click "get app" which is in the top left corner when you've already clicked on the information page
