Undecided about laminate countertop?

I cannot decide if I like this design or not. What do you think? The counter tops it will be going with are oak like the ones in the second link.

The kitchen has a nice design - Corion counter-tops are also a sharp choice for new counter-tops as well. This counter top picture http://www.brandsconstruction.com/Copper... a style of counter top I might personally lean toward although laminate styles of may be a better choice for someone looking for a new kitchen with a tight budget.
