Underage booking a room?

I;m 17 need a room for grad weekend..how do i do it? Theres some secret to it, because other teens get rooms too, even though there techinically not suppose to.

what do i do book with a prepaid credit card or something? will they turn me down at the hotel even if i paid with a credit card?

get an older friend or older sibling of a friend to do it or a parent. The card needs to be from someone 18 or older and they will check ID to make sure your that person. I have never heard of another way to do it I just asked someone older or I got a free room because i had a friend who worked at a hotel.
