Underwater pictures on my cruise?

I heard you can make your own camera usable for taking underwater pictures by purchasing some kind of outer box for it. Can anyone give me more info for this?

i've never heard of this but if you dont want to take any chance and ruin your camera, just buy a disposable underwater camera, i used one when i went on a cruise and they turned out great

They do, you just have to find the right ones. And it won't mess up your camera, the cases are tightly secured. I just went on google and saw a site, I'm not sure if this is right, but look here for one

You can, I know for sure that Sony sells them as we debated getting one for our Caribbean cruise.  for the number of times we were going to use it we opted to just by a disposible underwater camera.  We went snorkeling with the Sting Rays in Grand Cayman and pics came out amazing.

If you travel a lot the case would be a great investment but for us it just didn't seem necessary.  good luck!

Yes they do make special water proof boxes for certain cameras. I seen one at meijer a while back, It was about $50-75 i think. I assume you are scuba diving? For what its worth most disposable water proof cameras say the will only go like 50 ft deep,but i took one to 80 ft and pictures turned out perfect.

You can buy cheap underwater cameras at any drug store or Walmart.  They are only about $12.00.  They work fantastic.
