Uneven Dollar Bill???

Question

The other day at a garage sale i received an uneven 1 dollar bill. There is no space at the top but all the space is at the bottom. Is this counterfeit or just an odd bill. Please Help Me!!!!!

It's just a dollar - why are you stressing so much?

Take it to the bank and ask them if it really bothers you that much but honestly, there's no money to be made in counterfeiting dollar bills.

rub the dollar on a piece of cloth. if the ink comes off then its real. another way to tell if its real is look real close at a spot where there is no ink. if there are squiggly little red and blue lines then its real. fake dollars wont have those lines and or ink wont rub off. that goes for all denominations of money.

it may even be worth money to a collector.  bring it ot a coin collector and see what they say

I'm sure it is real. Look for a string like line within the paper. This line will tell you if it is real or not. Because of the unevenness of the bill, you may want to take it to a collector to see if it is worth anything of value.
