basically the united states have not beaten anyone,all that's happening out there is that the war is being contained ,it wont be over until the far lady sings

Yes they have beat the iraqi army but the battle is now with insurgents trying to over through the government and return to the way Sadaam ruled. Apparently the war will be over for America in 2011 when they withdraw there forces but the war will still rage on in Iraq between Iraqis and the struggle for power
