Universal Child Care Benefits in Canada?

Hello I'm 7 months pregnant and I was just wondering when I give birth in August do the give you a form to fill out baby bonus, do you have to apply agan to get the universal child care or is it automatic. I'm a single mother working little or nothing so I was just wondering how the universal child care thing works.

congratulations, and have a safe and healthy delivery.

first make sure your taxes are done for the previous year.

it is based on your last year's income and must be filed or they won't know how much to give you. but it is always retroactive, you wont lose a dime

you will most definitly fill out a form in the hospital before you leave

cheques will roll in within 30 to 60 days  based on the date of the month you gave birth
