University Abroad!?

I live in England and am currently doing my GCSE's! Im wondering when it fininally comes to picking university's would I be able to go to one abroad (like in america!)

  1. You would be able to go to one abroad. I live in america, and the university by me has polish and australian students and probably several other groups that I haven't seen yet.


  2. Absolutely.  Make sure you take the SAT Reasoning Test.  You may also be required to take at least two SAT Subject Tests.  Check out www.collegeboard.com for information on those exams.  Some universities will also accept the ACT (www.act.org).

    Find some schools that you are interested in and make sure you check their international admissions information.  I would recommend that you check out www.usnews.com to see the rankings of universities in the US.  Just make sure you know enough about the school AND the city before you make a decision... Not everywhere in America is tht cool, but some places are fantastic!  I love New York City, Miami, Austin, and Chicago.  But if you want a smaller town, some really cute college towns would be Gainesville, FL, Chapel Hill, NC, Charlottesville, VA, the list goes on and on!
