University of Phoenix for psychology?

I haven't completed any college yet and i just had a baby. I wanted a degree in psychology and was wondering if anyone has gone through University of Phoenix to get their degree. Is it equivelent to being in an actual college setting? Do they offer grants or anything? any information would be great.

Yes they sure my brother is going there part time to get his bachelor's of science degree and masters to OK He is doing all his by computer from home he will not have to go to phoenix until he graduates in 2009 and miss you can ask about grants his company is paying for his 60/40 OK I hope this helps this is all I know about it just what he told us that we will all have to go to phoenix when he graduates OK and yes if you want a collage setting you can do so but he wanted to go to school on line so that is the way he signed up over the Internet for all his classes so he could do them at home so times he does have to go to the campus to take test when they tell him that he has to OK
