University of Victoria BC?

Hi everyone,

1.Can anyone tell me how well regarded UVIC is (compared to UBC)?

2.I live in BC but I would like to try going to UofToronto or Mcgill for third year in Business, is that possible? How does it work?

UVIC is very highly regarded, but also really tough to get into.  Most courses are transferrable, but just double check before you register.

UVic was ranked number 3 overall  last year and number 2 the year before in the annual McLean's University reviews.  UBC is not in the top 10 either year.  The list is out for this year, but you have to buy the magazine for that.  I had the issue, but gave it away.

Yes, transferring is not a problem.  Mostly keep your grades up, and pay attention to your courses for transfer credits.  Most courses should be transferable, but double check to make sure you aren't wasting your time on a class that isn't.

It is very well regarded.

They also have topnotch sportsteams, such as the Vikings and Vikettes,in basketball and rowing club.

If you want to go a university in Ontario, you should contact the staff of that university, and ask what their admission requirements are.
