I want to study economics and searching for an university. Do you think University of Washington is a good universty to attend? or do you know any other good university that has a tuition about $15,000-$18,000.

The fact is I don't do any sports or any kind of projects but my gpa is 3.8 and I go to MUN conferences. So do you think I can attend to those universities?

  1. I don't know a lot about the Economics program there, but from what I've heard, the university of washington in general is good.  I don't know how far you want to go but, the University of Minnesota, University of Maryland, and the University of Michigan are also said to have good economics departments.  Really, there are a lot of nice state schools out there, and if you just do your homework, you can see which ones you think would best fit.  They all are generally low in tuition and tend to offer good financial aid and scholarships for top-tier students and low-income families.

A 3.8 GPA is seen as quite good by a lot of colleges, so you have that going for you, as well as the MUN thing, since colleges like to see people who are involved in extra-curriculars.  You can probably get into any state school, and some good private ones as well, if you can play up to conferences and other groups things you might have done.

    Good luck!
