Unknown berries??????????????

Question

O.K. so my dad was going four-wheelingand found lots of these types of berries. He doesn't know what kind they are. He brought some home and their are very small and light orange. It has some maroon colored sticks attaching it to a three to four ft. shrub. The leves are light green and oblong, small, and the veins on them are not very noticable. Please tell me what kind of berries.
