Unusual Computer Volume?

The volume on my computer seems to change randomly. Some days, it will be as loud and possible and you can hardly here it, while other days its very loud, without me changing any settings. It happens with the speakers and headphones. Is there a reason for this?

It could be due to a loose connector. & that could mean either inside or outside the Box. It would also seem that way if the file itself has loud or slow volume levels. If the volume changes for the SAME file randomly I'd say a H/W problem.

Perhaps some media player software is changing Volume control in control panel .
