Upgrade my room at the flamingo?

im going to vegas in october and ive heard you can often get your room upgeaded by slipping the clerk a 20, does that really work and if so what are the chances they actually do it at the flamingo?

There are a lot of factors that go into getting upgrades.  sometimes they will let you know the cost of the upgrade, sometimes they will upgrade you, sometimes they will not upgrade you at all.  

It is really the luck of the draw.

THe $20 (depedning on length of stay and where you are can use $50 or $100) trick works in Vegas I have used it on many occasions and when it has not worked i have been offered my cash back I have not taken it if I think that they have tried. http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2007...

hi,  i think that can only be done, if clerk is partner in the hotel buddy, anyways. i think u can search a website that help you find deals available on hotel you have mentioned. and i m sure u would find any ongoing deal on this website http://www.moneybulls.com/travels.htm

enter your search for deals or flamigo hotel and see if u can get any deal. I would suggest dont try this experiment, may be you can risk your 20. after all its ur hard earned money.
