Uploading To Files Area Of Groups?

Question

I have been having trouble uploading files to the files section of Yahoo groups. I can't even upload to the two groups I own.

These are not huge files by any means. Most average around 2,500-2,800kb.

I have e-mailed Yahoo and have never gotten an answer.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks Nana

The Yahoo-imposed limit for files that are uploaded to the Files section of a Group is 5 MB (which is about 5,000 KB), so you seem to be fine there.  But I noticed another limit when I tried to upload files of around 1 MB in size back when I had a dial-up modem.  To make a long story short, the uploading process can time out (give up) if it takes too much time.  So if you have a slow connection to the internet like a dial-up modem, that could be your problem.  See if you can use a computer with a faster connection to the internet for your file uploading.
