Uploading pictures.?

Question

Can someone give me a link or tell me how to upload pictures from your camera to your computer?? Please help i used to know but know i completely forgot!!!!:/

If you have a card in your camera, take it out and place it into the slot it fits in in the computer.  If not, connect your usb cord (given with your camera) into your camera and into the computer.  A box should pop up guiding you what to do next, and if it doesn't, you may need to install your camera into your computer with the disc usually given when you buy the camera. That step isn't necessary, though, unless nothing happens.

Get a card reader.  That way you bypass using your camera and draining your batteries.  A dialog should come up when you plug it into a USB port.  Just follow the instructions on it.  Or if for some reason it doesn't do it automatically, go to the icon for your computer, click on it and find the new drive attached.  Open it and copy the files onto your computer where you want to keep your pictures.  Then after you upload your pictures, remember to re-format your card in your camera.  It will work better that way.
