  1. http://www.fitnyc.edu/html/dynamic.html

Hunter college is up there too, just not sure what the specialty is.

  2. Columbia + Hunter

Hunter is on 95th + Park Avenue

    XX

    Giselle

  3. It's not a very good plan to base your study on where a college is located as opposed to who has the best program if you're serious about what you want to do in life.

Most of the best schools for the arts are downtown (Julliard is a music school offering no arts or design courses by the way and Hunter College is on 68th and Lexington not in the 90's)

Parsons and FIT are the best for design and they're both farther downtown and on the West side. Parsons is also great for photography as is the School of Visual Arts, also downtown.

NYU is better for acting than Marymount...again, downtown.  Pace University (yep, downtown) offers an Acting Program in coordination with the Actor's Studio, originally started by Lee Strassberg.

  4. there's fit of course and julliard

  5. Can't give you the geography you asked for. Fashion Institute of Technology is located on the west side of Manhattan, NYU is in the village. They are the best for what you are looking for.

  6. Marymount Manhattan College is on the Upper East Side and has a very good acting program.

    www.mmm.edu

They also offer photography courses, but I'm not sure if you can major in it.  It is a good school, small classes and has some notable alumni in the the theater department.

For Fashion, design and photography - your best bets are going to be downtown:

FIT - Fashion Institute of Technology - www.fit.edu

Parsons - The New School for Design - www.parsons.edu

ICP - International Center of Photography - www.icp.org

Hunter College is also on the UES, but they are more knowing for being a teaching/social work school - not an arts school.
