Urgent help needed! please?

Question

hey just bought an HDMI cable for my HD ready tv

and ive inserted the cable end fine in to the dvd player

but there doesnt seem to be anywhere in the TV for the other end to go :S

its definitly an HD ready tv what do you think the problem could be?

any help would be grately appreciated thanks

Not all HD tv's have HDMI ports.  Most of them do but some don't.  Some only have S-Video ports, but not HDMI.  I hope this isn't the case for you!  Keep looking and make sure there is not a protective plastic piece over the HDMI port in the back of your TV.  Good luck dude!

not all hd tvs have hdmi inputs they have the other type of hd connection called component inputs. those are the green blue and red connectors but they need audio to be routed separately the red and white connectors so there should be a total of 5 wires connected

Look in the handbook for connectivity.

Round the back,or inside a panel on the front.
