Using freecycle?

Can anyone give me a hand using Freecycle? I just started using it today and I've found it's quite slow and hard to use. I just wondered if you had any tips, and any experience of troubles you overcame using it?

where are you using it from? (are you logging in directly to the yahoo group, or via the freecycle.org page?) it is much easier to do via the yahoo group, as the freecycle page is currently not perfect

once you're a member of a group, it should be easy to log in and view other messages, and reply to them; you can also get the messages delivered (individually or in a daily digest) to your email address so you can read them there

Hi there I am a moderator for freecycle, which group do you belong to, if you send a question in to any of the mods, they will be able to talk you through any problems you may be having

I use it and find no troubles at all. It's just a case of finding what you would like and hoping the freecycler chooses you. It's not slow as it is email-related so you just have to check every now and again to see if you have had a reply or if something you want has popped up.
