Utlimate g vacuum appholstery attachment

Question

how do I get the vacuum to blow instead of ****??......I have the appholstery gun all set up and attached to the hose attachment which is attached to the vacuum but when I turn the vacuum on it only **** and does not blow the soap out....I have done this before correctly so I know i have all the parts but my manual disappeared in our last move. Please help me???
