VCASS auditions?

i want to audition for Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. But I dont know what kind of skills i need to get in. can someone please tell me? i went on the website but its not very clear. thanks

I can tell you a bit about the school - I'm a parent of a student who was unhappy at her previous school, moved to VCASS and did really well. The most important thing to know is that the school is a government school with limits on enrolment (200 local and 20 international studnets, so it's small and friendly), not a private school with a profit motive. So all staff have the incentive to do what is right for the student, and won't try to talk you into going there if it desn't suit you. They select based on potential as well as current skills - it's a school, so they expect to teach you! If the audition info at http://www.vcass.vic.edu.au/entry/ isn't enough contact the school and have a talk to them. Head of Music is Michael sargeant, head of dance is Tim Storey, they are the people to talk to about audition details.  remember they have no incentive to persuade you to enter the school if it's not right for you.  Oh, and a complete brand new school is being built at the moment, ready for next year. It costs you nothing to talk to them - you'll get some good, free advice before deciding whether to audition - and even that doesn't commit you to anything.
