Question:

VG Strat Problems?

Some one please help! I am experiencing some difficulties on my VG Strat. Playing with the regular strat pick-ups, my guitar sounds fine. However, once I play the roland pick-up, my guitar plays the wrong notes. When I pluck only the high B string, my low E sring is sounding off also. Because the roland pick-up converts the notes, the E string is playing the A note. It's really complicated if you've never heard of it before. I am really hoping some has heard of this. If this has ever happened to you, please let me know how you resolved the problem! Thanks. The roland pick-up is the only reason why I bought the VG.

  1. The Roland pickup lets you switch to alternate tunings without retuning the guitar.  It sounds as if you have one of the alternate tunings selected.  Check the setting on the Tuning Function k**b.
