VHF Radios

I am wondering whether you can use 2 VHF radios through a single antenna. If you do...If one is transmitting from the Bridge, can the one in the Crew Mess hear both sides of the transmission?
We have limited space on the mast so this is the reason for sharing antennas.Any advice gratefully accepted
