Vacation in Spain?

Is it a good place for a vacation?

I heard there is a huge aquarium there, I'd like to visit.

Absolutely!!!  One of the best!  There are many aquariums in Spain.  I can think of two off the top of my head,  but with the amount of coastline they have, there must be more.  There's one in Barcelona.  I know nothing about it. And the largest aquarium in Europe is in Valencia, in the new Science center, which is a marvel of architecture, as well.  Well worth the visit from what I hear.  It's slated for our next trip.  Didn't have time last year.  

People in Spain are wonderful and welcoming, and the food is GREAT!  While the cheapness used to be a big draw for a lot of people, that is no longer true, especially for Americans, with the dollar so low.  Nothing is cheap for us, anymore.  But you will have a blast.  Study up first on the culture and history, the mixtures of cultures, and what makes Spain so interesting.

A good guide book (with a lot of that information) is DK Eyewitness Spain...It'll make you want to stay forever, just so you can see everything in it.
