Question

Is Italy a good place to visit? I've always wanted to go there.

I hear it's really very pretty.

If not Italy, what are some other good vacation spots in Europe?

Italy is a very contrasting country. Some areas are straight from a picture book like you see in the movies. And then there are places where the environment is quite disapppointing, especially considering its role in world history.

Italy is absolutely wonderful! No matter which part of the country you go to you will not be disappointed. The southern coast is very nice (Sorrento, Amalfi). Venice is a great place to go also. There is so much history in Rome as well! I would definately recommend going to Italy if you have the chance!!
