Value of Brazilian coins from 1800s ?

I have some Brazilian coins (Reis) from 1870 - 1920. Do you how much they could be worth ? I tried looking up the value on Yahoo.com.br The brazilian site for yahoo but was not able to find anything.

  1. It's difficult to give you the value estimates without knowing what type of coin you have there, the individual dates, and an idea of a coin's condition. 1870 to 1920 is a span of up to 50 years and many Brazillian coins have been minted during that period. The value of each coin could be less than US$1 for very worn condition up to hundreds of dollars. Try to post some details here, and I'll do what I can to assist you.


  2. Did you steal them from a bank's vault or something, lol?

  3. It would be very helpful if denomination or at least a picture can be included.  Quality can vary a coin greatly, even at 30% for two of the same coins I had but had different quality.  A picture could make it a lot easier.  Try posting a picture somewhere and then linking it to this page.
