Van Der Valk Beach Curacao?

I will be on a cruise next month and stopping on this island. Has anyone been to this beach - and what is it like?

The van der valk beach is a pretty nice place to visit, and it's a good beach for some relaxed swimming and sun tanning. wave breakers ensure that you can swim hassle free, and there is a restaurant on the beach as well if I am not mistaken. It is not amongst the best beaches on the island, but considering you will be on a cruise stop, time will have to be considered. If you have the time however, and the means of getting there, here are some better recomendations:

Public beach next to the Marriott resort

the beaches down that far are beautiful, we stayed at breezes when we were there..you will come in thru down town. its a neat place to shop.very fine powdery sand

I'm sorry Kimmer 72, I was really trying to help you. A poster wrote the beach (in the first link I posted) is actually Kontiki beach where the Van Der Valk Plaza Hotel is located. And the cruise ships take you there. Usually cruisecritic.com is a big help. My apologies.

Its nice but I prefer Kenepa grandi or Kenepa chiki also Santa Barbara, Caracas bai, Barbara beach.
