Varicocele/Testosterone

I was recently diagnosed with a grade 2 varicocele on my left t******e, my doctor said it doesnt effect testosterone but in the last week or so I have had virtually no s*x drive and my facial hair is definetly coming in slower

anyone hear anything like this, I believe my dog stomping on my ball was the cause of this ******* thing, but I wonder if it is possible if damage was done to the testes

  1. First of all see a male infertility urologist a regular doc is clueless in this area. Even a regular urologist would be better then a regular doc. And it is proven that varicoceles can impact testosterone production. Most studies show that after repair of them the testosteron levels inceased. The larger the varicocele the bigger the difference.  


  2. If one of your testicles is not functioning properly, the other will take over.  There are many guys out there with only one ball because of cancer, accident or whatever and they are doing fine.  Your brain should regulate the testosterone production so give it some time.  If it doesn't get better, you can get supplemental testosterone, gel or patch from your doctor.
