Vball captain?

what do you guys think?

last season, all the starters were seniors, with the exception of the setter who was a junior. she and i played the most out of all the younger players. we both have played the full rotations (her in games and me in tournaments and a handful of games). i am a sophomore, meaning i will be a junior next year and her a senior. do you think we will be the captains for next year? how can i get my coach to consider me a captain?

try and be a leader with your voice on the court don't be bossy but be talking all the time. Also act like a leader off the court picking up balls or help the coach with telling the girls things.. all these will help the coach see you are a leader

Make sure you can coexist with her while showing off your leadership skill.

Normally a senior would have more advantage, but you should be a co-captain based on what you have been doing.

1. captains are often the coaches "favorites"

2. captains may not be the best player on the team.

3. captains arent always the best leaders either.

4. yes, alot of coaches choose the seniors as captains automatically.

i think that you can because if u playin as hard as you say you are the coach will notice you he was probably just trying to get the older kids off his back but wit you'll be captain on day plus i played ad i was captain sorry to rub it in but i love the sport and if u love it you will put yah heart n it and the coach will see that and recognize it
