  1. I find it really hard to believe that your stores don't carry fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts and seeds.  These should be the staples of a vegan diet, not prepared convenience foods.

Also, you don't say where you live, so no one can really help you.  I live in a large-ish city and I can't recall the last time I was in a grocery store that didn't sell tofu and boca burgers.

  2. if there is a whole foods store near you, you can look there.

  3. You did not mention the city/town you live in but usually you can find veggie stuff at Trader Joe's (Indian Naans, Noodles, Eggplant Parmesan all in the frozen section). Also places like Pathmark, Stop and Shop, Shoprite all carry a variety of fake meats in the frozen section and near the produce aisle. My favorites include Morning Star Burgers (Asian flavor, Spicy Black Bean, and Garden Veggie). Your grocery store may also carry Amy's Vegetarian products, Smart Dogs, Tofurky. You other options include ordering online from places like Freshdirect (if they deliver in your area). Good Luck.

  4. See if you can come up with enough foods
